5 genuine 64GB Kingston USB flash drives for this price? Somehow, we don’t think so!!

As we understand things it costs Kingston more to manufacture 5 of their 64GB DataTraveler 150 USB flash drives than seller mali3501 is charging. This (and the fact that the seller is registered in Malaysia but the flash drives are in China) lead us to think that mali3501 entered into a drop-shipping arrangement with one of the many fraudulent suppliers in China.
The use of drop shipping means that an ebay seller never actually sees the items they sell. This is probably ok for cheap fashion jewellery or clothes but is very dangerous when it comes to flash memory!
WARNING TO ALL EBAY SELLERS
BEWARE OF GETTING INVOLVED IN DROPSHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS WHEN IT COMES TO FLASH MEMORY. YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL BLAME YOU WHEN THEIR FAKES FAIL AND THEY LOSE THEIR VALUED PHOTOS, DOCUMENTS, VIDEOS OR WHATEVER!
High capacity Kingston flash drives should all have individual serial numbers which can be used to verify genuine items with the company. We don’t think that Kingston will verify these as genuine. We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
Report in to SOSFakeFlash if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
