Another Singpore ebay seller with the “made in Japan” claim
Seller great.gift1301 is yet another fraudster claiming that the flash drive pictured here (the fraudsters’ favourite) is made in Japan – no it isn’t! This fake 64GB USB flash drive from China (not Japan) will corrupt users’ files. This model has been sold by fraudsters on ebay and elsewhere for years in capacities ranging from 4GB to a fantastic 128GB – every one tested by the frankenflash project was a fake.
We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
