Another ebay seller in China with a “beam me up Scottie”

leave a comment »

Based in China, seller meidwa seems to be another of those with a Star Trek “beam me up device” for the instant delivery of goods. The seller started selling items with purchase prices of  under 50p at the end of  February and was getting positive feedback within 24 hours. We wish someone would beam meidwa (and the fake flash this seller now seems to be peddling) to another planet. If you bought flash memory items from this seller test them immediately with h2testw. They are almost certain to be fake. The 32GB Kingston USB flash drive being  sold certainly is.

Ebayer luring62 lists massive fake Kingston USB flash drive

with one comment

Ebay member luring62 has  listed 360GB Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drives on ebay France.  There is no such thing as a 360GB USB flash drive, it is not technically possible. The items are fake. The seller may not realise – but the fact that user IDs are being kept private suggests otherwise. Perhaps someone in France could ask the seller to check this out with Kingston and comment here on the seller’s response. Here is a picture:
