KINGSTON DT150 128GB USB Flash Drive Shows Up On eBay!

with one comment

A KINGSTON DT150 128GB USB Flash Drive for sale on eBay? Oh no…. Oh yes!

The last 40 days have been bad for Kingston’s flag ship usb drive with over 4,600 counterfeits sold on eBay – they were only 32GB. Now a whopping size of 128GB has appeared and is being sold by eBay seller chichouneatonio.

We don’t think eBay seller chichouneatonio did his homework. Please do not buy this usb flash drive. eBay sellers, please research your merchandise on eBay before you list!

If you visit kingston at: you are not going to see this usb flash drive. At the moment the largest capacity available is 64GB and NO HIGHER!

Everyone, when you are interested in a brand name usb flash drive, visit the manufacturers site first. See what they make, what the flash drives look like and their prices if available.

This item is also a poor counterfeit. Can you see why besides the obvious colour coding?

Would Kingston use a sticker for the capacity size? Over existing packaging? We don’t think so.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
