Is xpinky-2008 a devious fraudster on ebay?

leave a comment »

Seller xpinky-2008 seems rather suspect to fightflashfraud. This seller was registered in Thailand on 27th of June 2008 but states that the 64GB fake capacity Kingston flash drive being sold on buy it now (ebay item 270375435592) is located in Derby in the UK. We suspect that neither the seller nor the flash drives are in Derby.

More UK ebayers list fake 64GB Kingston USB flash drives

with one comment

UK based ebay sellers a2engineer, shajrari, marcin2578 and naffy23k are all currently selling fake 64GB Kingston USB flash drives. At present we cannot be sure whether these sellers are deliberate fraudsters or not. They may simply be people who fell victim to the lure of profits in these hard times without doing their research to check whether their items were genuine or not. Either way buyers of these fakes will eventually lose all their files.
