Australian ebay member goes shopping in fake flash land

leave a comment »

18-kristen-2008An ebay member in Australia has been shopping in fake flash land and bought a batch of the most obvious fakes possible. If 18-kristen-2008 took a quick look at the Kingston web site it would be obvious that this item must be fake. Kingston do not make this drive in capacities above 16GB! Sellers should do thorough research before buying flash drives to re-sell on ebay. There are a large number of fraudulent wholesalers selling fakes in bulk. Anyone who has not done their research is likely to fall into the trap of buying fakes from fraudulent wholesalers. If you bought a flash drive like this you should test immediately with h2testw.

Report in to sosfakeflash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

Perhaps someone would like to inform the seller that the items listed are fake capacity and will cause buyers to lose all their files. The seller is at risk of ending up with angry buyers, negative feedback, de-registation from ebay and possibly even arrest, conviction and imprisonment.
