Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

Is ebay seller szmds a fraudster selling fake flash drives?

leave a comment »

Based in China, seller szmds registered with ebay on 13th January 2009. This may well be selling fake flash drives. A neutral comment left for the seller suggests this:
“2GB memory stick, reflashed to pretend it’s 8GB, but my money was refunded.”
If you bought a flash drive from this seller you should test it immediately with h2testw. If it proves to be fake please use the report a fake tab on sosfakeflash to report in with your test results, seller ID, your ID and the item number – this is the minimum amount of information needed to add your item to the fakes database. Any other information you may be able to provide to assist our investigations would also be appreciated.
