Suspect 64GB flash drives listed by ebay seller in Germany

leave a comment »

scenduran88 An ebay seller in Germany has listed these very suspect looking 64GB USB flash drives at auction with a start price of 1 Euro.

The seller has also listed the same model with 32GB capacity, again with an auction start price of 1 Euro. We think these were purchased from a fraudulent wholesaler and will prove to be fake capacity drives which will cause data loss for users.

As ever we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

We think the buy it now price for this 32GB Sandisk flash drive is a little too cheap for it to be genuine.

As ever we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
