Fake memory cards on ebay reported to frankenflash project

A buyer of this item from fengfeng_joy2008 was not very joyful when testing revealed it was not a 32GB card but a 4GB card fraudulently programmed to show as 32GB when properties are viewed in the operating system. Sadly, most computer users (unlike the founders of the frankenflash project who run these blogs) have little underlying computer knowledge. If the operating system says 32GB they trust this – completely wrong! Those with the right knowledge and tools can easily fool your operating system!!

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
