USA ebay seller lists DT150 flash drives at auction with 1cent start

Who could afford to list a number of items as expensive as a 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 USB flash drive at auction with a start price of 1cent? Seller gormankens78usa (registered 3rd July 2009) apparently can! This makes us think the seller has been shopping in fake flash land and that these are highly likely to be counterfeit. If they are genuine there will be a unique serial number which can be used to confirm authenticity with Kingston. We urge all buyers of high capacity Kingston drives to do so, wherever they were purchased. If you don’t you are at grave risk of file loss and data corruption.
