Suspected fake leather flash drive from an ebay seller in Australia

leave a comment »

We strongly suspect that this leather finish flash drive from Australian seller torquay1980 is fake capacity – indeed several members of our team are the not-so-proud owners of this model commonly supplied by fraudsters from China who re-program drives to show fake capacities. We don’t know where torquay1980 got this from but we are fairly certain that testing will reveal the capacity is much less than 64GB. This is not the first time we have seen a suspect item from this seller.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
