Brand name 64GB flash drives sold in private auctions

with one comment

blair1995We find the use of private auctions by blair1995 to sell 64GB Integral and Sandisk flash drives rather suspect.

The prices those already sold went for would mean the seller very likely made a loss if the drives are genuine.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  1. I definitely consider these drives to be selling far too cheap to be genuine and highly likely to be counterfeit.

The four 64gb drives I have seen so far have sold for between £59.00 and £73.51, an average of £65.00 per drive. Three of these were 64gb SanDisk Ultra Backup drives with a RRP of £169.99, according to the seller in their listings.

The use of private listings is common practice amongst counterfeit and fake capacity drive sellers. Hiding the description of what has been bought and how much it sold for is purely for the benefit of the seller, not the buyer, in cases such as this.

Do they come in a plain brown wrapper as well so that neither your postman or neighbours know what you bought either?

If you have bought a drive from this seller, please test and send in your results to the email address given at Your input is welcomed and valued by the team here at fightflashfraud. The more evidence gathered on these sellers, the better. This is your chance to help fight against the injustice we all suffer as a result of this ongoing fraud.
