The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

Chance to lose data here – we don’t see how this could be genuine

chance2save-moneyWe don’t think this item from China-based seller chance2save-money could possibly be genuine.

There is no way that the seller could make a profit on a genuine 16GB flash drive at this price with free postage.

This seller is known to sell fake memory cards so we are fairly sure all flash memory from chance2save-money will prove to be fake capacity.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

UPDATE 4th August 2009:
The frankenflash team now has evidence against this seller – one buyer has reported in with the information needed to enter this seller in the database. The more evidence we have the better. This seller ID has been suspended but we have reason to think that a new ID is now being used to continue defrauding ebayers.
