Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

Yet another new ebayer in China selling suspect flash drives

Another new seller based in China is selling flash drives at prices that make us sure these cannot be genuine 16GB drives. We expect that liqian16888168 will prove to be a new ID used by one of our familiar fraud gangs. This is a popular fake model – also being sold by ebayers elsewhere such as tobyjug2009 who offered the same item on buy it now for £20. When, oh when, will princess ebay awake from the slumber induced by the poisoned apple from her wicked stepmother in China, the fake flash queen?

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
