UK ebay seller states in this listing:

GENUINE NOT FROM CHINA LIKE ALOT OF THE OTHERS

We hope this is true. Buyers can check the serial numbers with Kingston to find out whether or not they are genuine. If they are counterfeit they will fail testing with h2testw. As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. If you have bought a drive from this seller, please test and send in your results to the email address given at http://sosfakeflash.wordpress.com/report-a-fake/ Your input is welcomed and valued by the team here at fightflashfraud. The more evidence gathered on these sellers, the better. This is your chance to help fight against the injustice we all suffer as a result of this ongoing fraud.

  2. When questioned about the authenticity of the drives by a well meaning ebay member, the seller accused the member of being “aggressive” and became insulting and refused to sell the potential buyer one of their drives.

This was obviously a display of hostility to try to frighten the buyer off as the buyer appeared knowledgeable of what they were about to buy.

The drives have now disappeared from ebay entirely after being reported to both ebay and Kingston.

This proves the drives were counterfeit and the seller was fully intent on selling to unsuspecting victims. Any buyer showing knowledge of what they were looking for would probably have met with the same level of hostility.
