Fantastic fake flash drives at fantastic prices dropshipped from HK

gia_diamonds

UK registered ebay member gia_diamonds is offering fabulous fakes at fantastic prices. This seller has a choice of false capacities for you to select from – you can have the nonexistent size of 250GB (there are no USB pen drives whatsoever of this capacity) 128GB or 64GB. All are fake – we could tell this at a glance because they carry the name Vaio.

Vaio is a trademark of Sony and is never used for flash drives, only laptops. Sony have never made flash drives of these capacities. The flash drives offered by gia_diamonds will be drop-shipped from Hong Kong. This means the seller has probably never clapped eyes on one of these let alone tested it.

Anyone using these false capacity devices will inevitably suffer data loss. As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. Hi Traveler,

As there are presently only 4 real 128GB flash drives (with limited availability) and none of them look like this anyway it makes no difference – they are still fake fake fakity-fake.

All gia_diamonds is has achieved by changing the picture is make it perfectly clear that this is deliberate fraud!

  2. The seller changed the picture in the listing by replacing with one exactly the same, but with the “VAIO” labeling noticable by its absence.

If you bought a drive from this seller, please test and send in your results.

Your assistance in collating evidence against these sellers is most valuable and greatly appreciated by the team at fightflashfraud.

It’s you, the buyer, who makes the real difference.
