Too cheap to be a real 64GB Kingston – it must be counterfeit

This simply has to be a counterfeit, xuexue698 could not buy genuine 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 drives for this price wholesale let alone sell them on ebay for this price. Buyers – check the serial number with Kingston. You can test to discover the true capacity with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. As expected, this seller has had their counterfeit listings completely removed from ebay. Get your claims in for refunds through resolution centre as soon as possible.

If you have bought a drive from this seller, please test and send in your results to the email address given at http://sosfakeflash.wordpress.com/report-a-fake/ Your input is welcomed and valued by the team here at fightflashfraud. The more evidence gathered on these sellers, the better. This is your chance to help fight against the injustice we all suffer as a result of this ongoing fraud.

  2. Has anyone not noticed how dodgy the first feedback is?

This seller starts with a 30 day listing and gets a positive feedback in less than a day. I don’t think so. Seems very suspicious to me.

There is absolutely no way that drive could have been posted from China and arrived that quickly in the UK.

I mean, 0 feedback and no percentage rating does not look as good as at least 1 positive feedback and 100% rating, does it?

How convenient this has been for the seller.

Has anyone got in touch with the buyer to verify and test the drive?

All the way from China in a flash!
