Counterfeit Kingston and Sony flash drives from UK ebayer

with 2 comments

Ebay member j_aslam has been shopping in fake flash land and has already sold some of these counterfeit and fake capacity flash drives. We do not know whether the seller is aware that his supplier has sold him or her counterfeit items or not. Sellers please research what brand name flash drives are really available by looking at the brand’s own website before buying them to sell on ebay.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. Maybe someone should point the seller directly to this post and the advice given! Unless the seller refunds all buyers he or she will land in the fake flash database as a confirmed fraudster.

  2. This seller was alredy informed by an ebay member that the Sony drives in particular were counterfeit and fake capacity. The ebay member also suggested the seller should review not only his stock, but his supplier as well.

The seller was also given the link to this site to do his/her homework before continuing with sales!

No reply was received and the listings continue.
