New ebay ID in China starts fake flash career on registration!

Seller yaojing1982200909 had no sooner registered on ebay than this listing for the fraudsters’ favourite flash drive (complete with tell-tale packaging) went up on ebay. This model of flash drive has been advertised at every capacity between 8GB and 64GB and has never proved to have a capacity higher than 2GB as far as we are aware. The drive is easy to reprogram to any capacity a fraudster chooses – so it looks ok when you look at the properties but when you exceed the true capacity of the drive the result is file loss and data corruption.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
