Tell-tale sign makes us think this flash drive is fake capacity

with one comment

There is a tell-tale sign that this drive listed by UK seller uplonker is a fake capacity flash drive obtained from a fraudster in China. We do not know whether the seller is aware of this or not. As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. This seller was informed of this site and the common sense approach of testing with h2testw.

The seller responded and said checks would be made.

The drive still remains for sale.

The possibility is that this could lead to a negative feedback earned if this drive proves to be fake capacity.
