UK ebay member sold obvious fake flash drives on ebay

with one comment

The flash drives sold by josoap101 are obvious fakes – Sony does not use the Vaio name for flash drives, only for laptops! The seller may have been unaware of this. We hope that josoap101 does the honourable thing and refunds all the buyers immediately. As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. This seller is highly unlikely to contact and refund all the customers he has sold counterfeit 16gb Sony Vaio usb flash drives to.

The seller uses private listings and multiple items to hide sales of these counterfeit, fake capacity drives.

The seller was clearly informed these drives were counterfeit and fake capacity as soon as the listings appeared. The listings continued until the drives were sold.

If you have bought a counterfeit drive from this seller, please test and send in your results to the email address given at Your input is welcomed and valued by the team here at fightflashfraud. The more evidence gathered on these sellers, the better. This is your chance to help fight against the injustice we all suffer as a result of this ongoing fraud.
