New seller auctions 32GB SD cards – probably fake capacity

with one comment

gynkanshui33

We strongly suspect that the 32GB SD cards sold by gynkanshui33 will prove to be fake capacity. Many thanks to Jason for alerting us to this seller.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. sellers kaykay… and superkay… definitely selling fake cards.
WHY is ebay not getting rid of these guys??

Unfortunately new sellers selling the same fake cards are appearing every day, and buyers just will not heed the warnings, just keep buying the low price. Most of them can’t even recognize that the cards are fakes because they do work up to their real (albiet smaller ) capacity. Except in Panasonic, where they don’t work at all. Panasonic firmware just can’t read the corrupted card firmware.
