with one comment

gremlin2sBaby gremlin isuper_sales listed 3 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 flash drives on ebay in the United States with a start price of 99 cents and free P&P. We are certain these are counterfeit. Buyers should check the serial numbers with Kingston.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

UPDATE 15th Sept 2009
Seems this baby gremlin is a quick learner – no mention of Kingston in listing number 250499158668 which went up on ebay today:

  1. The three 64gb DT150’s listed by this seller have been taken off ebay at the request of Kingston. No more proof than that is needed to prove they are counterfeit, as expected. The seller was advised when the drives were first listed, but like most fraudsters, the seller chose to carry on with the listings.

If you have bought a drive from this seller, please test and send in your results to the email address given at Your input is welcomed and valued by the team here at fightflashfraud. The more evidence gathered on these sellers, the better. This is your chance to help fight against the injustice we all suffer as a result of this ongoing fraud.
