Fake 64GB flash drive in private auction on ebay USA

with one comment

There is no genuine 64GB flash drive that looks like this – it is a fake and will corrupt files. We think seller gram3020 knows this and that is why the seller is using private auctions.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

  1. From appearances, this looks like the old favourite green and white 2gb Data Traveler.

These can still be often seen in 32gb, 64gb and 128gb fake capacities and have featured here on more than the odd occasion.

The side on display is where the fraudsters would normally apply the fake capacity sticker displaying “Data Traveler” and the claimed capacity.
