Baby gremlin from China on ebay claims fake flash made in Japan
Baby Gremlin chenjiaenniu is selling the fraudster’s favourite flash drive at a rather bold 32GB. This seller is advertising this known fake with a new twist we have seen in one or two sellers’ listings recently.
Some sellers now claim that these are made in Japan! Why? Because people are rightly becoming suspicious about flash memory coming out of China! We have never come across one of these with a capacity over 4GB.
As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.
Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
Hi Earl,
We have all had the same problem – ebay seems to a lot faster in objecting to our warnings (no matter how we word things) than they are at doing something about the fraudsters.

Big money for junk, and ebay keeps cancelling my listings for information, no matter where I put it, they find something wrong with the photo or copywrite violations because I use names like Kingston or Sony.

ebay seller joezolki,5 PCS Kingston 128GB DataTraveler DT200 USB Flash Drive. These sold for an amazing 500.00. He has about 50 listed and people are bidding. To buy a fake is bad enough, put to put this kind of money on a dog is crazy. What are these drives running about 400.00 each. That is 2000.00 worth of drives for only 25% of the cost. The sad part is they will end up back on ebay for resale.
