United States seller with suspect Kingston listings on ebay

leave a comment »

A genuine 64GB DataTraveler 150 USB flash drive auctioned on ebay USA with a start price of $0.01?? Somehow we don’t think so. Seller doli916 seems to have a number of different Kingston models which we suspect will turn out to be counterfeit and fake capacity. Buyers should check serial numbers with Kingston.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

This seller has had listings removed by Kingston and is now de-registered – if you bought from this seller get your paypal claim in fast!
