good.pr0ducts

Seems good.pr0ducts was another member of the singjapan gang – a fraud ring based in Singapore that claims these flash drives are made in Japan. We don’t think so! We are certain they come from China and know that we have never found any of these to be the capacity claimed by sellers.

Fake capacity flash memory causes data loss and corruption once the true capacity (usually 4GB or less) has been exceeded. Anyone who bought one of these will end up with corrupted files. If only ebayers did their research they would know that you cannot buy a genuine 32GB flash drive at this price! This seller is no longer registered on ebay – if you bought from good.pr0ducts get your refund claim in fast!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have purchased a false capacity device on ebay.

An ebay member sent us the following useful information about how to deal with fraudsters in Singapore:

You are advised to lodge a police report at the Electronic Police Centre via the internet. The police will investigate the matter if the report reveals the commission of a criminal offence.

Thank you and regards. Chew Lye Soonfor Quality Service Manager Singapore Police Force.

It seems that even if you are NOT a Singaporean resident you can still report misdeeds in Singapore, but you need to give your passport number.

UPDATE 02/11/09
This seller has been de-registered (suspended by ebay) get your refund claim in quick!
