Seller in Canada reselling suspect flash items on ebay

leave a comment »

It seems that ebay member 647voc has been buying items on ebay from suspected fraudsters such as sales-producer, digitsonic and hitech2day to re-sell. It looks like the spy camera in the listing above came from digitsonic – a negative comment from someon who bought one from digitsonic indicates it is fake capacity.

We think that if 647voc tests the flash memory items purchased from these sellers they will all turn out to be fake capacity items which corrupt files after a while.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
