sunrisesuppliersukIs UK ebay seller sunrisesuppliersuk confused?

This seller has used pictures of two different models of flash drive in a buy it now ebay listing for 128GB Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drives.

So which type is actually for sale? The one on the left or the one on the right??

If buyers receive the one on the left it is definately counterfeit and fake capacity. It will undoubtedly trash all files saved to it eventually.

If they receive the one on the right we still think it will turn out to be counterfeit and fake capacity as we think that (even buying in bulk as an authorised reseller) you would pay more than the buy it now price shown.

For the drive on the right serial numbers can be checked and verified with Kingston if genuine. We don’t think Kingston will verify these. We suggest that sunrisesuppliersuk checks with Kingston before sending these out to buyers – otherwise the seller could have an almighty mess to clear up!

As always we advise all those buying USB flash drives to test them before use with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
