This 256GB flash drive listed on ebay by dariuli4ka is fake fake fakity fake.

Sony never made a flash drive of this capacity – and there are no swivel type drives like this made by anyone in capacities anywhere near 256GB for techincal reasons. We don’t know where dariuli4ka got this, but we can say without any doubt that it is a fake that will trash users’ files once the real capacity (probably no more than 4GB) is exceeded.

Seller dariuli4ka could be totally unaware that this flash drive is a fake. As such a clear picture was provided we are inclined to think this may well be the case. Many people around the world have bought fake capacity USB flash drives (and other fake flash items) at local computer fairs, markets etc and thought they could sell their “bargain” at a profit on ebay.

We advise everyone (whether buyers or sellers) to test all flash memory (flash drives, memory cards or MP players) with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
