linkun1239898

We hope that any customers who bought these fake flash drives from linkun1239898 also bought one of the seller’s wigs. They will need the wig when they start tearing their hair out because all their files have been trashed by the fraudsters’ favourite fake flash drive!

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

Another ebay gremlin with counterfeit DataTraveler drives

pret1021

This flash drive sold by pret1021 does not have a true capacity of 64GB – it is a fake that will trash users’ files. As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

Another gremlin selling fake USB flash drives on ebay

obamastores

gremlin2sSeller obamastores is yet another gremlin from China selling fake capacity flash drives. This flash drive will have a capacity much smaller than the advertised 32GB.

Fake flash drives eventually corrupt users’ data when the true capacity is exceeded as there is nowhere for them to go.

We have proof of this seller’s fraud – an alert was issued on the sosfakeflash blog on 8th October.
We advise everyone to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device. Your reports are important – they are the evidence of the fact that ebay continues to allow this fraud to continue unabated.
