david0753007If you see a flash drive marked with Sony and Vaio it is undoubtedly a fake that will trash your files.

The ones pictured here were sold by david0753007, a UK ebay member, who may not be aware that they were fakes. Sony do not make flash drives of over 16GB and the Vaio name is used only for laptops.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
