Seller in France lists suspect 128GB DataTraveler 200 on ebay

Seems seller dan_co_ltd didn’t notice the line at the bottom of all ebay listings that says Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.

This statement in the listing above for an undoubtedly counterfeit and fake capaciy 128GB Kingston DataTraveler flash drive doesn’t look like taking responsibility to us:

I am not responsible in case of dysfunction of the key usb. no exchange or returns.
It belongs to you to contact the manufacturer to make the guarantee walk

If a flash drive is counterfeit (as we are certain this is) then there is no gaurantee – gaurantees only apply to genuine goods not counterfeits from a fraudulent supplier (which is where dan_co_ltd will have purchase these) – counterfeit flash drives are always fake capacity and will trash users’ files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
