These 64GB Kingston flash drives on ebay Australia may be fake

bargains_softwares

We think the 64GB Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drives listed by bargains_softwares may well be counterfeits purchased from a fraudulent supplier. If we are wrong the drives can be verified by checking the serial numbers with Kingston.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

slonevskiy123

Seller slonevskiy123 made a loss if this 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 was genuine (if so serial number can be verified with Kingston) or the item is counterfeit and will trash users’ files. We suspect the latter.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

We think it very likely that the 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drives listed by fuschiagirl on ebay Australia are counterfeit and fake capacity. Real ones have individual serial numbers and can be verified by Kingston. We don’t think Kingston will verify the ones listed by fuschiagirl.

This seller probably got them from one of the many fraudulent sellers supplying counterfeits that trash users’ files. We suggest the seller checks with Kingston and tries to get a refund from the supplier if we are right.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Another little gremlin from China selling fake flash on ebay

gremlin2sThis USB flash drive is fake fake fakity fake – you can’t even buy a genuine 16Gb USB flash drive (except possibly a very low grade one prone to failure) for this price – let alone a 64GB one.

A genuine 64GB USB flash drive costs more to make than the seller is charging! Seller fvlihai69 is another little gremlin offering you the chance to trash you data.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.
