128GB DT200 flash drives on ebay are too cheap to be genuine

The 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drives listed by ukbay are a tad too cheap to be genuine. We think this seller bought from one of the many fraudulent suppliers selling counterfeit and fake capacity items. Genuine DT200 drives all have individual serial numbers that can be verified with Kingston – we don’t think Kingston will verify these. If we are right about these being counterfeit they will corrupt files after a while.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
