Flash memory items in private listings – something seems odd here

leave a comment »

Seller kbayga states these 1GB Sandisk flash drives are in the UK, yet the seller who registered on December 8th is in the USA. That seems suspicious for a start, as does the use of private listings. This seller has listed a number of Sandisk flash memory items for sale – flash drives and memory cards. The mismatch between item location and seller location along with the private listings makes us wonder if they are counterfeits.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
