Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

No one can sell genuine 64GB DT 150 drives at this price on ebay

with 2 comments

These 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 USB flash drives listed by UK ebay member brockwayuk just have to be counterfeits purchased from a fraudulent supplier. No one could list genuine ones at this price. Genuine ones have individual serial numbers that can be verified by Kingston – we are certain Kingston will not verify these.

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

Our thanks to Malty for bringing this item to our attention.
