Obviously fake 128GB USB flash drives listed on ebay

leave a comment »

These 128GB USB flash drives listed on ebay by ozsytles are fakes that will trash users’ files. There is no such thing as a Sony Vaio flash drive and Sony do not sell any flash drives of capacities above 32GB. This seller obviously didn’t do the research needed to spot these were fake before buying from a fraudulent supplier.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you (or your buyers) run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
