Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

There is no such thing as a 128GB Sony Vaio USB flash drive

with 6 comments

Sony does not use the Vaio name for USB flash drives and does not sell flash drives above 32GB. These flash drives listed by sunshine.786 are counterfeit and fake capacity items that will corrupt files. The seller obviously bought from a fraudulent supplier.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  5. Hi Vit,
You can’t find it because there is no such thing as a 128GB Sony Vaio flash drive. You cannot find information about something that does not exist. If you bought an item advertised as this then you have a fake.

Depending on where and when you bought it, and how you paid, you may be able to get a refund.
