Familiar fake flash drive listed on ebay by member of fraud ring

Seller gigabytemall545 is part of a rather devious fraud ring based in Singapore.

This fraud ring has been operating on ebay for some time now – we have a large number of IDs on file.

This “16GB” USB flash drive is a fake which will corrupt files when the real capacity is exceeded.

The singjapan gang specialises in fake USB flash drives (this leather and steel type is a favourite) and dodgy phone batteries.

This fraud ring is well organised and has many ebay IDs – when one ID is suspended it is simply replace with another.

Some IDs have been set up months in advance and much of the positive feedback for these sellers comes from other gang members and is totally fake – a buffer against the inevitable negs from genuine buyers.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
