This 64GB USB flash drive corrupts files – the true capacity of the flash drives sold by kingji718 will be 4GB at the very most, probably less.

This flash drive is a fake that corrupts files. It is not made by Sony and it’s capacity is a lot less than the advertised 64GB. Any flash drive you see for sale bearing the name Sony Vaio is a fake that trashes files.

beautifully presented fake flash drive from Hong Kong seller

Seller ch_km went to some trouble to present this fake capacity 16GB leather and steel type flash drive absolutely beautifully. Very nice presentation, extremely professional.

What a shame that the product is bound to be a nasty little fake! We have not the shadow of a doubt that the leather and steel type 16GB USB flash drives sold by ch_km will prove to be fake capacity items which corrupt files. This model of flash drive on ebay always does, whatever capacity it is sold as. This is because they are altered to mis-report capacity.

More counterfeit 64GB Kingston DataTraveler USB flash on ebay

with 2 comments

Kingston has now discontinued the DataTraveler 150 model of USB flash drive. We wonder if this is a result of the massive number of counterfeits churned out in China and sold by fraud rings there. Seller tiankong1586168 is yet another ebay ID being used by fraudsters in China to sell these. If you bought one of these USB flash drives it will corrupt files after a while.
