UK ebayer sells massive 512GB fake Kingston flash drive

Had UK ebay seller darren159 checked with Kingston then this seller would have known that the 512GB USB flash drives he or she listed for sale on ebay are fakes. Kingston do not make 512GB flash drives (yet, anyway) and nor does anyone else. This USB flash drive corrupts files – fakes have to as they have a very small real capacity but are programmed to display a false capacity to the operating system.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
