Counterfeit 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 on ebay

with 2 comments

The buy it now price in this listing from alialsaif for 128GB Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drives it too low for the drives to be genuine therefore they must be counterfeits purchased from a fraudulent supplier. This USB flash drive corrupts files. Feedback shows that a buyer contacted Kingston and confirmed our findings – these are fake.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

UPDATE 22/02/2010
This seller is no longer registered on ebay – if you bought then get your refund claim in to paypal quickly

  1. Hi William,
It is helpful if you give us an item number if you spot fraudulent listings on ebay – that way we can have a look at the listing.
