Another ebay seller from China with fake capacity USB flash drives

leave a comment »

Thia USB flash drive auctioned on ebay by jjody will undoubtedly be a fake capacity item which corrupts files. Almost all the flash drives coming from this part of the world are fakes. Unfortunately you are not safe buying flash memory on ebay from people in your own country either as most sellers bought from fraudulent wholesalers in China.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

The USB flash drives sold by shopping.code are certain to be fake capacity. They will seem to have the capacity claimed if you look at the drive properties but this is not the truth. A fake USB flash drive corrupts files after a while.

A genuine 128 Kingston DataTraveler in ebay auctio ebay? We don’t think so

We think it highly unlikely that this 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drive listed at auction by lsestore13 on ebay USA will prove to be genuine. We think this USB flash drive is counterfeit, fake capacity, and that it corrupts files. If we are wrong then buyers will be able to verify the serial number with Kingston.

This seller has also listed job lots of these – we think this seller has been shopping in fake flash land and bought these from a fraudulent supplier. The seller may not be aware there is likely to be a problem.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

This USB flash drive from UK seller bp2u is certain to be a fake that corrupts files. Every USB flash drive in this packaging tested proved to be fake capacity.

These fakes look as though they have the capacity stated when you look at properties, but this is far from the truth as anyone who tests with h2testw will discover. The seller may be unaware these are fake.

UK ebay seller swicts may not be aware of it but these 32GB USB flash drives are fake capacity. This seller obviously bought from a fraudulent supplier. We think this seller is a little less than honest – a truly honest seller does not charge a massive amount for postage. Those who do this are normally trying to evade ebay fees. This USB flash drive corrupts files – it is the most well known fake & has been sold on ebay for years.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
