Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

These flash drives on ebay are too cheap to be genuine 64GB

These flash drives listed on ebay by UK seller wilsonhouse73 are too cheap to be genuine 64GB flash drives – not only that they are counterfeit Kingston. These USB flash drives are certain to be fake capacity and a fake capacity flash drive always corrupts files. This seller obviously shopped with one of the fraudulent wholesale outlets that sell counterfeit and fake capacity flash memory items.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  1. Thank you for pointing out the typing error Colin – does the fact that you left the comment on this post rather than the one with the typo mean the ID wilsonhouse73 belonged to you as well as crj54321? We notice that wilsonhouse73 is no longer a registered user – no doubt suspended by ebay for selling fakes.
