Kingston DT150’s in auctions on ebay USA likely to be counterfeit

We have a feeling that the 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 flash drives being auctioned by omegea718 on ebay USA will turn out to be counterfeit. If we are wrong then serial numbers can be verified with Kingston. If we are right they will be fake capacity and a fake capacity flash drive corrupts files.

128GB Kingston DT200 on ebay Spain too cheap to be genuine

Seller topschro08 must have purchased these 128GB Kingston DataTraveler flash drives from a fraudulent supplier as they are far too cheap to be anything except counterfeit and fake capacity. A counterfeit fake capacity flash drive corrupts files.

UPDATE 13/03/2010
It seems that none of the people who have bought these from topschro08 has realised yet that they have a fake. Had the buyers actually needed a flash drive of this capacity then they would have found out fairly quickly that the capacity is false. WE STRONGLY ADVISE people against buying ANY high capacity flash drive on ebay. It is almost certain to be fake. It seems that topschro08 is still selling these!

We suspect this 16GB USB flash drive sold on ebay is fake

We think this 16GB USB flash drive sold by candler1614 on ebay USA is fake capacity and corrupts files. The drive is marked Micro Vault – the name used by Sony for their flash drives – but there is no model on the Sony site that looks like this. We think these may have come from a fraudulent supplier in China.
