8GB Sandisk Cruzer flash drive on ebay UK a bit on the cheap side

with one comment

Given the fact that instead of dropping (as it did until around autumn last year) the price of flash memory chips is rising we find the buy it now price in this ebay listing by UK seller christrio71 a bit on the cheap side. Unless this seller managed to grab old stock at a bargain price from somewhere we can’t see how he or she could make a profit if these are genuine.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  1. I looked at these, and wanting another 8GB drive I asked the seller to confirm they have tested with h2testw and the drives will store at least 7.6GB without corruption, I await reply.
