Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

accenter pretends ebay item is in UK but seller is in Hong Kong!!

The fact that accenter is dishonest about the location of this 4GB Sandisk USB flash drives leads us to think that we have another ebay fraud ID here. If our suspicions are correct this will be a counterfeit and fake capacity flash drive which corrupts files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

So im guessing its a muti trade business and set up a UK base for uk buyers, it mskes sense, well its better than having to wake 2 months for an item from china (such as my driger s beyblade i brought in october and only came last week)

  2. Hi Aaron,
The owner of the ID was registered in Hong Kong. This may well have been a case where several people were involved (as was the case with bobob_uk) some of whom were in China and some in the UK.
