fake flash fraudster handsomebea suspended by ebay again

leave a comment »

Did you buy a flash memory item (USB flash drive, memory card etc) from ebay seller handsomebea recently? If so you will find the item has vanished from your won list. Why? Because ebay knows this seller is a fraudster. If you bought a flash memory item from this known fraudster you can be sure it will turn out to be a fake!!

Here is a screenshot of negative feedback for this seller:

Why could this seller not take payment through paypal from buyers? Because paypal knows this seller is fraudulent. Make sure you get a refund if you paid for a flash memory item from this fraudster. Ebay and Paypal are aware this is a fraudulent seller, but we bet they didn’t instantly refund your money if you paid for something sold by handsomebea!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

We suspect these 32GB USB flash drives from ebay seller in the USA are fakes

We think the 32GB swivel type USB flash drive in this ebay listing from bestdeals.4u will prove to be fake capacity. A fake capacity USB flash drive always corrupts files eventually.

cumbuy.nowww – another Singapore fake flash drive seller on ebay

leave a comment »

This 128GB USB flash drive sold on ebay by cumbuy.nowww is no such thing! The real capacity will be nowhere near 128GB, although that is what will appear in the properties window due to fraudulent programming. A fake capacity flash drive corrupts files once the true capacity (usually 2GB or less) is exceeded.

This (and any other USB flash drive from ebay seller safety.firsst2010) is fake capacity and corrupts files. This ebay ID belongs to a fraud gang in Singapore that fightflashfraud has been watching for some time.

Deceitful fraudster aoyitenke_244 pretends fake flash drive in UK

leave a comment »

Seller aoyitenke_244 is pretending that this fake capacity flash drive which corrupts files is in the UK (see ebay item 260570911299) – as the seller is in China we are dis-inclined to beleive this! This leather and steel flash drive is a favourite with fraudsters in China as it’s easy to program to fake capacities. Every single on of these tested by members of the fightflashfraud team was fake capacity – and fake capacity causes file corruption.

32GB USB flash drive on ebay Germany is sure to be a fake that corrupts files

This model of leather and steel flash drive has always proved to be fake capacity (which results in corrupted files) when tested by members of the fightflashdrives team. We are sure the same applies to the ones listed on ebay by casionaut10. Many sellers on ebay fall into the trap of buying fake flash memory items for fraudulent wholesalers in China to sell on ebay thinking they are genuine. This is probably the case with this seller.
