512GB USB flash drive from seller nidasali on ebay USA – fake!

There is no such thing as a 512GB USB flash drive yet and we suspect that USA ebay seller nidasali knows it! These are fake capacity USB flash drives. A fake capacity USB flash drive inevitably corrupts files. This seller gives the following words of assurance to allay your suspicions that these might not be genuine:

“Bigest Capicity so far in USB Flash Drive. This USB Drive has capicity of 512 GB With some sharing on windows operating system it will shows that it is 511 GB available 64 Kb Used. That Doesn’t Mean that something is wrong. I have been Using this to backup my three diffrent computers and its working fine no problem so far.”

We think the picture on the right expresses our opinion of this statement from the seller – unless of course there is almost nothing on his or her hard drives!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

In the case of such a massive fake as this testing the whole drive would take days – just test the first 8000 megabytes – that should be quite enough to show it is fake.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
